PROJECT PROPOSAL
VLGP Film Project
Introduction
Hi, I'm Andy and I run the digital media and design business, Roseneath Creative . I'm pleased to present here my proposal and fee structure for the Victorian Local Government Partnership (VLGP) Youth Film Project.
I'm really excited about the prospect of working on this project as it will draw on my experience with working with young people whilst also giving me the chance to share my skillset in media production. More importantly, the project will be a catalyst for Colac Otway Shire youth to collaborate, share ideas and provide them a voice.
In recent years some of the most rewarding projects have been those for not for profit and government bodies such as Colac Otway Shire, Surf Coast Shire, GROW, Diversitat and Wellways. In my role as content creator I actively seek opportunities to work on projects which celebrate diversity and social equity.
I hope that my body of work and references enable you to see that Roseneath Creative has the capacity to plan and deliver a professional result that exceeds your expectations for the project.
I look forward to the prospect of working with you.

REFERENCES
I’ve known Andy in two separate fields. Firstly as a teacher at Surf Coast Secondary College, where his capacity to engage with students was nothing short of extraordinary. His passion for supporting kids to reach their full potential was outstanding and his technical knowledge in industry standard practices supported students to achieve the lofty ambitions he had for them.
The second field I’ve known Andy in is as a videographer for some work that has taken place at Northern Bay College over the past 18 months. Andy is meticulously working through the school and documenting all of programs into a consistent portfolio of work which will be used in ongoing marketing and communication of what our school has to offer.
As is clear I would thoroughly recommend Andy for any position or program he is to apply for.

I have worked with Andy on two projects over the couple of years, and the results are always excellent.
I am a communications and engagement consultant and I’ve been working with Colac Otway Shire Council and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP). I invited Andy to
quote and provide photography and videography services for two of my projects – a new walking trail for DELWP and a new waste service at Council.
Both these projects required working with adults and children; every day people who were asked to present and perform and Andy made the task a breeze. Andy was very professional, responsive, reliable and flexible. However, the best thing about Andy’s approach is his friendly and cooperative nature, he brings a smile to each day and shows initiative – he is excellent at finding solutions.
I would highly recommend Andy’s abilities and services.

Below is one possible outcome from the project. However, the partipants will be involced in the all aspects of the production process, thus alternative presentation formats may arrise as part of the process.
1 x 5-6 minute 'hero' documentary style video featuring the messages from participants, addressing issues and potential strategies. This would be a very collaborative edit, with input from all participants / stakeholders.
1 x 'Bite size' video per participant. This way each participant takes ownership of their own edit.
