International Women’s Day ‘Break the Bias’

Hi, I'm Andy and I run the digital media and design business, Roseneath Creative . I'm pleased to present here my proposal and fee structure for Surf Coast Shire, International Women’s Day ‘Break the Bias’ video campaign.

On a personal note, I'm really excited about the prospect of working on this project. Firstly, I taught at Surf Coast Secondary College for 6+ years and was fortunate to get work with some amazing young women, both students and staff. I am also the step father of four girls here in Torquay. So contributing to a culture within our community, schools and workplaces which actively promotes equality and celebrates diversity is very important to me.

Additionally, in recent years some of the most rewarding projects have been those for not for profit and government bodies such as GROW, Diversitat and Wellways. In my role as content creator I actively seek opportunities to work on projects which celebrate diversity and social equity.

In recent years I have worked with a broad range of clients in the government and private sectors, drawing on my skills in video, photography and design to deliver a diverse portfolio of work.

I hope that my body of work and references enable you to see that Roseneath Creative has the capacity to plan and deliver a professional result that exceeds your expectations for the campaign.

I look forward to the prospect of working with you.

Throughout my 15 years of teaching (Secondary Art, Design & Media) I have always had a side project.. be it recording local bands, or filming the occasional wedding.  Now those projects are both my bread and butter and my passion as Roseneath Creative has become a full time pursuit.

I bring a diverse skillset to all projects that I engage with. My knowledge and experience in videography, photograpy, graphic design along with web design enables me to undertake large projects in various formats of delivery.

The studio itself is located in Warncoort and features a fully equipped recording studio with a range of studio lighting for video and still photography use.

I am fortunate to have a great network of trusted and talented creatives that I periodically engage to assist in aspects of production.

The delivery of this proposed campaign will be underpinned by my ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, manage shoot schedules and to develop a suitable aesthetic for use across all campaign materials.

Our aim will be to use these videos as a catalist to spark conversation and to break the bias within our community.

  • As with all Roseneath Creative projects, the approach we take factors in the needs and expectations of the client and relies on careful time management and communication in order to deliver the end result.

  • In this case, the specifications outlined bySurf Coast Shire will guide the process, however it will be the careful selection of shots, fonts, colour palette and audio that will combine to create a suite of digital content that effectively delivers the message.

Selected Project Samples

Project - Keep Colac Kind

Continuing in the theme from the earlier series of 'Keep Colac Safe' videos, it was identified that in late 2021 there was the need for further community messaging regarding the COVID-19 outbreak in the Colac Otway Shire. The video aims to re-enforce health advice by using well known and respected community members.

Client - Bakerland

Project - 2021 Promotional Video

Bakerland were seeking a short video to promote the townships in which they are currently develoing property subdivisions.

Project - Celebrating 5 Years of GROW

This project included a series of videos, each celebrating a successful partnership between a local business / organisation and GROW.

Client - Wisdom Workshop

Project - Promotional Video, Website, Logo Design & Publication Design

‘Andy has been amazing to work with throughout the creation of a promotional video for my business website. He took the time to speak and meet with me over and over again to get a sense of exactly what I was looking for, and he delivered on this exceptionally well. In addition to the video he was also able to assist me with logo design, website development and general branding to get a finished product which I love and would not have been able to achieve without him. I found Andy to be such a friendly and down to earth guy who just has such a natural talent for design and creativity.’
